The Science of Feng Shui
Traditional Feng Shui
Traditional Feng Shui is based on the theories derived from the I-Ching ("The Book of Change"), which conveys wisdom and universal truth and is an ancient science using patterns and cycles of earth's magnetic energy. By aligning ourselves and our buildings with this energy, we can create harmony with our living environment.
Feng Shui can be used to affect a person's wealth, relationships, career and most importantly for health. It can be considered as a close relation to acupuncture and how this science relates to meridians and energy pathways in the human body.
Feng Shui literally translated means Wind and Water and is based on their natural flow and laws of nature. It directly affects our quality of life and deals directly with how energy in our home and office either supports, weakens, controls or clashes with us. When our personal energy is supported by the energy in our home or office we find that we have more energy to make better things happen in our life. When weakened we become tired and lethargic. When controlled, there is much more stress, arguing, quarrelling and eventually health problems. When clashing then everything we do goes wrong.
A Feng Shui consultation can improve the quality of life even in the worst case scenario and circumstances can immediately turn around for the occupants. The Feng Shui practitioner will examine all four aspects of the building, the environment, time (both construction time and current time) and the people.
The environmental aspects of Feng Shui deal with negative "sha" Qi or energy that can be seen, such as sharp angles, power lines, construction sites etc. and all of which require a remedy.
